1 cup evaporated cane juice, or light brown sugar, or turbinado, or date sugar, or granulated sweetener of choice
1 cup water
- Place saucepan with 1 cup water over medium high heat; stir in sugar.
- Bring mixture to a boil; stir until sugar is dissolved.
- Remove pan from heat; cool completely.
Refrigerate up to 1 month.
